HOPE IS

CONTAGIOUS!

SO IS HARD WORK. HERE’S HOW WE MAKE HISTORY!

HELP ELECT PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS, KEEP THE SENATE, WIN BACK THE HOUSE, AND SAVE DEMOCRACY.

DO THREE THINGS

We have to elect President Kamala Harris AND deliver both the House and Senate to end MAGA’s threat to our democracy.

Even a small increase in voter turnout in these key races can change everything. Just choose three things to do. DONATE, VOLUNTEER, and INSPIRE your friends to do the same.

KEY SENATE RACES

Retaining the Senate will be extremely difficult so I’m focusing on these key races. Includes ratings from Cook Political Report.

AZ — Ruben Gallego

Congressman Gallego’s MAGA rival is Kari Lake. Lake still lies that Trump won the 2020 election. (Lean D)

OH — Sherrod Brown

Senator Brown was first elected in 2006 but is matched against a Trump-backed millionaire car dealer in a state that is trending red. (Toss-up)

NV — Jacky Rosen

Senator Rosen was first elected in 2018 when she flipped a seat held by the GOP. She is the only Jewish woman in the Senate. (Lean Democrat)

MD — Angela Alsobrooks

County Executive Alsobrooks is in a tight race with former governor, Larry Hogan. (Likely D)

MI — Elissa Slotkin

Congresswoman and former CIA agent Slotkin is locked in a tight race with Trump-endorsed Mike Rogers. (Toss-up)

WI — Tammy Baldwin

In 2012, Senator Baldwin became the first woman elected to the US Senate in WI history and the first openly LGBTQ+ Senator in US history. (Toss-up)

TX — Colin Allred

Congressman Allred is a former NFL player and civil rights lawyer. He is running a tight race against Ted Cruz. (Lean R)

MT — Jon Tester

Senator Tester was first elected in 2006 but is widely viewed as the most vulnerable Democrat in the Senate. (Lean R))

PA — Bob Casey, Jr

Senator Casey has served in the Senate since 2007 and faces Dave McCormick, a former hedge fund CEO in one of the country’s most expensive races. (Lean D)

FL — Debbie Mucarsel-Powell

Former Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell would be the second Latina elected to the Senate. She is running a tight race against Tim Scott. (Likely R)

KEY HOUSE RACES

Support your state’s most critical races. I’m including the tightest race here in WA, below. For more on your state’s races, see Cook Political Report.

WA — Marie Gluesenkamp Perez

Congresswoman Perez narrowly flipped this seat in 2022 and is in a very tight rematch with Trump-backed Joe Kent.

In addition to contributing to candidates directly, consider contributing time or money to these organizations that specialize in getting out the vote. Postcards, texts, calls, doorknocking — it’s the critical, hard work that wins elections!

Progressive Turnout Project

Claims to be the largest voter contact organization in the US, backed by research-based tactics proven to rally Democratic voters.

FairFight

The Georgia-based organization created by Stacey Abrams to defend voting rights is a notable success story. They provide a wide variety of volunteer opportunities across the country.

Dedicated to helping people impact key races no matter where they live. Use their tool to help you find ways to help with GOTV efforts or donate to the cause.

MoveOn

In addition to their “Scoop the Vote” campaign with the founders of Ben & Jerry’s, MoveOn does phone banking and canvassing door to door.

Vote Forward

Focuses on letter writing and personal stories that Vote Forward says are proven to lift voter turnout by as much as 3.4 percentage points. October 29th is the final day they recommend sending letters.

OUR CAMPAIGN IS OVER. AND IT’S JUST BEGINNING.

WE’RE MAKING NOISE

My sincere thanks to the nearly 10,000 voters who chose our message of saving democracy and transformational change. I didn’t advance to the general election, but Democratic groups have reached out since the primary to voice their support going forward. We’re building a coalition that will have a powerful voice!

THE CASE FOR HOPE IS REAL

This is the fight of our lives. It’s also the opportunity of our lifetimes.

When we vote, we win. And we will never again see as dangerous a candidate as Donald Trump and as incendiary an issue as abortion essentially on the ballot in the same election.

This turnout can be the historic event that finally breaks the grip the GOP has had around the neck of our democracy for decades.

We need Hope Heroes to seize this moment, dare to have hope for real change, and commit to making it happen.

I ran for Congress because I believe in the Case for Hope. I promise to fight with everything I have to make that hope a reality.

HEROES WANTED. JOIN THE MOVEMENT.

We’re going to keep fighting to election day and beyond. Join us and help hold elected officials accountable. Nearly 10,000 voters chose our campaign’s message of hope and our combined voices have power.

WE’VE GOT THIS

History says when we win both houses of Congress and the Presidency, we will have a two-year window to get things done. Imagine an America free of GOP stonewalling and unafraid to make bold change.

Our Democracy

Protecting our democracy has to be our top priority. Get money out of politics, protect voting rights, end gerrymandering, fight disinformation, expand the Supreme Court, and enact statehood for DC and Puerto Rico.

Your Money

As an entrepreneur, I’m obsessed with how every dollar is spent. Make the rich pay their fair share in taxes, confront corporate “greedflation,” and fully fund investigations into waste and corruption.

Our Future

Invest in America, not the wealthy. Fund the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and education reform. Pass common-sense gun control, the expanded Child Tax Credit, and protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, women, and people of color.

MY MOM TAUGHT ME TO FIGHT.

I hate bullies. Always have.

Why? Maybe it was all those comic books I read as a kid. Or seeing my mom, Ione, struggle to survive against a parade of scammers, predatory lenders, and crushing medical debt.

Mom raised me as a single parent since I was 8 years old. She was a former Miss New Jersey, Pinochle player, and real estate agent. We had good times but it was a constant battle to keep the heat on in the house and food on the table. There were a lot of tears.

Then came cancer. Mom had no health insurance. She survived but it devastated her financially. She lived with that stress daily until the bank seized her house. She would have been homeless if I hadn't bought her a place to live. She died shortly thereafter in 2010.

Watching mom helped teach me empathy for people with less power facing these enormous forces; I also learned to fight. She didn't have an education or resources, but mom was a fighter.

It enraged me when the GOP came one vote from ripping Obamacare away from millions and then plunged our country into historic deficits to give tax breaks to wealthy donors. And now they’re trying to destroy the very concept of truth so they can continue to plunder America.

I’ve stood up to bullies my whole life; I’m going to continue to do so during this critical time in our country’s history .
